On the Table was designed as a one day of conversations around the city hosted by individual non-profit and for-profit entities typically over a meal for purposes of discussing a particular issue impacting the city. The goal is to create stronger dialogues across communities and sectors to explore solutions or share perspectives/experiences on a chosen topic. The one-day cross city conversation concept was introduced to Milwaukee by the Greater Milwaukee Foundation.
