The Census isn't just about the numbers. It's about empowerment. The decennial census is the most inclusive civic activity in our country, covering every person in every household. Our focus for National Day of Empowerment (NDOE) 2019 is to provide public education and awareness about the census
We are pleased to be a community partner organization with the Greater Milwaukee Complete Count Committee for the 2020 Census! It's important that we prepare for the 2020 Census so Milwaukee and our state receives its fair share of funding for various services. Everyone must be counted! Census Frequently Asked Questions!
Our November General Body meeting in partnership with our Milwaukee Urban League Guild will focus on this work and how everyone can assist. Matt Dannenberg, will present to us on how "Wisconsin Voices our state’s nonprofit hub for the 2020 Census. He'll share the mission of making sure every person in Wisconsin is counted in the 2020 Census. You'll learn why the Census is so important, basics about the Census, messaging the Census, and how you can make sure every person counts! "
